We are pleased to announce launch of Belgium Visa Drop Box facility effective, Wednesday, March 03, 2004. Belgium Embassy will no more entertain applicants directly but only through Gerry’s FedEx.

All cases from all Pakistan would be forwarded to ISB for submission in Belgium Embassy.

If you wish to submit documents for legalization:

• All documents have to be presented in original version and submitted through FedEx visa dropbox facilities (NEVER by ordinary mail)

• This Embassy can only legalize ORIGINAL Pakistani documents attested by the competent officers of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Due to the exceptional circumstances in Afghanistan it is impossible to verify the authenticity of Afghan documents. Therefore neither the Embassy of Belgium in Islamabad nor the FPS Foreign Affairs in Brussels will legalize Afghan documents.

• Your signature on a document can be legalized. Please be aware that you will have to come in person to the Embassy for legalization of your personal signature . Bring your ID card and/or passport.

• Diplomas or degrees are to be attested by Ministry of Education and subsequently by the competent officers of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• No ordinary photocopies will be accepted for legalization, only CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES by the national authorities.

• It is possible to authorize someone to submit documents for legalization on your behalf. For security reasons the intermediary should be provided with an authorization letter and a good quality copy of your passport or identity card. The intermediary has to identify himself (passport or identity card) when visiting the Embassy as well. It is only possible to access the Embassy on APPOINTMENT.

Important: The transaltion Must be done in French. The embassy will directly legalize the stamps and signatures of all the Alliance Francasie without an furhter formalities. The legalization from MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Pakistan) will Not be Required in the translation. All other Original Pakistani documents do need to be legalized by MFA as a routine proces

Please understand that both the Belgium Embassy will legalize the original and translation and fee charged will be of 2 documents i.e. original (attested by MFA) and the translation documents.

Translation advice: Make sure, before getting your translated documents attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that there are no translation errors in them.

Embassy Processing Fee: PKR 1,180/- will be charged per document i.e. if an applicant is submitting 3 documents for attestation he will be paying PKR 3,540/- (1,180 x 3). No bank draft .
