BUSINESS VISA

Applications for business visas from residents in the Northern Pakistan should generally be submitted to FedEx/Gerry’s application centres, and from the Southern Pakistan to the Consulate General of Denmark, please see 1) + 2) below.

You must submit your application personally along with the following documents. Please check that the forms are correctly filled in, signed and dated:
  • Two sets duly completed (one original, one copy) of:
    • Application for Schengen Visa
    • Supplementary Information Form
  • Fee deposit slip
  • Original passport and national identity card, (the validity of the passport must be at least 3 months beyond the date you are leaving the Schengen area) and previous passports, if held;
  • A copy of the first two pages of your passport and valid visas, and a copy of your national identity card;
  • Two passport size photographs. The photos must be size 3.50 cm x 4.50 cm, facing and looking directly into the camera. Head must measure between 3.00-3.60 cm from chin to top of the head, and the upper part of the shoulder should be visible. Colour with a light neutral background, no more than six months old and a good likeness of you, bareheaded unless you have special religious reasons; no sunglasses etc.
  • A document in original from your company signed by an authorized person other than yourself, certifying your position within the company and that you will be visiting the Danish company on behalf of your company/employer;
  • Your company’s certificate of registration and letter of recommendation from Chamber of Commerce and Industry – in original;
  • A letter of invitation from the Danish company (in Danish or English) mentioning clearly the purpose and duration of the intended visit;
  • Documentation of established business relationship with the Danish company and documentation of intended purchases;
  • Documentation that your company can finance the intended purchases and your stay (recent bank statement). For upkeep and daily maintenance during stay you or your company must prove that you have at least DKK500 per day.
  • A confirmed return (to and from Denmark) airline booking; the stay cannot be more than 90 days).
    Provided you are granted a visa you will be required to show
    • A proper flight ticket/confirmed e-ticket, and
    • A valid Medical Insurance Policy applicable to the entire Schengen territory and covering costs of at least 30.000 Euro for urgent medical treatment and/or emergency hospital treatment and repatriation for medical reasons.
  • The equivalent of Euro 18 - PKR 2.016 - is charged by FedEx/Gerry’s.
  • Other kind of documentation might be required upon request.
    Before you present your application you must deposit a non-refundable visa application fee equivalent to DKK 450 - PKR 6.600 - into the Embassy’s account No. 13537900158003 at Habib Bank Ltd., F-6, Super Market, Islamabad, or at any on-line branch of Habib Bank Ltd. in Pakistan.
    No fee
    – The following will be exempted from paying a fee:
    • Children under the age of six years
    • Schoolchildren, students in higher education, research students and accompanying teachers – on condition that the purpose of the trip is studies or education
Normal processing time is approx. 1-2 months; kindly consider that an application might have to be submitted to the Danish Immigration Service for a decision, thus requiring longer processing time. Please note that possession of a Schengen visa does NOT guarantee entry into a Schengen state. At the border you may be asked to prove that you have enough means for your upkeep during the stay and return to Pakistan or show a guarantee/invitation letter from the reference in Denmark.

VISA FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OF EU/EEA-NATIONALS OR SWISS NATI0NALS EXERCISING HIS/HER RIGHT TO FREE MOVEMENT IN ANOTHER EU/EEA MEMBER STATE OR SWITZERLAND

Family visits where e.g. the applicant is a family member to an EU/EEA-national or Swiss national exercising or planning to exercise his/her right to free movement in Denmark he/she has a right to have his/her visa application processed as soon as possible if the below-mentioned documentation is provided.

Applications must be submitted personally along with the following documents. Please check that the forms are correctly filled in, signed and dated:
  • Two sets duly completed (one original, one copy) of:
    • Application for Schengen Visa
    • Supplementary Information Form
    Note: Applicants who are family members of a Danish national who has exercised the right to free movement in another EU/EEA Member State or Switzerland are NOT required to fill in the fields of the application form marked with an asterisk and all fields in the supplementary form if applicable. However, also supplementary form must be signed even if applicant is not obliged to fill in all the fields of the form.

    Applicants who are family members of a Danish national who has not exercised his/her right to free movement in another EU/EEA Member State or Switzerland SHOULD fill in all fields in the visa applicant form and all fields in the supplementary form if applicable.
  • Fee deposit slip
  • Original passport and possibly national identity card, (the validity of the passport must be at least 3 months beyond the date you are leaving the Schengen area), and previous passports, if held.
  • A copy of the first two pages of your passport and valid visas, and a copy of your national identity card.

  • When applicants are spouses, cohabiting partners aged 18 or more, and direct descendants under the age of 21, etc. documentation for the family relation, e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate etc. must be provided.
  • When applicants are descendants (e.g. children, grandchildren) more than 21 years of age of the EU/EEA national/the Swiss or of his/her spouse/partner, or ascendants (e.g. parents, grandparents) of the EU/EEA national/Swiss national or his/her spouse/partner, documentation that reference supports the family member, e.g. proof of regular payments or money transfer to the applicant, must be provided.
  • Documentation that the EU/EEA national or Swiss national is exercising his/her right to free movement in Denmark through a copy of the registration certificate issue by a Danish Regional Administrative body (Opholdsbevis) must be provided.

    The equivalent of Euro 18 - PKR 2,016 - is charged by FedEx

    • Spouses, cohabiting partners etc. of nationals from another EU/EEA Member State than Denmark and their children or the spouse’s/partner’s children that have not reached the age of 21 or who are maintained by the EU/EEA national as well as relatives in lineal ascent and the spouse’s/partner’s relatives in lineal ascent who are maintained by the EU/EEA national. The EU/EEA rules shall also apply to Switzerland.

  • An invitation letter from reference in Denmark.
  • If possible a copy of your reference’s passport. If your reference is not a Danish citizen, a copy of his/her passport and residence permit showing what kind of permit he/she has in Denmark.
  • For visits to family and relatives, the family relationship must be documented (Form B).
  • If applicable a document certifying that you have been granted leave from your job/studies during the period you intend to visit Denmark.
  • Documentation that you have sufficient funds to provide for yourself during the travel, including pocket money. If you pay for the trip, hotel and upkeep yourself, you must prove that you have at least 500 DKK/day, proportionally less if lodging etc. is provided for you.
  • Confirmed airline booking to and from Denmark (the stay should not be more than 90 days).
