Following is the procedure and requirements for attestation of documents from HEC for applicants within Pakistan and abroad
- Completely filled in application form.
- Attach all required documents.
- Attach receipt of payment of processing fee.
- Original certificates/degrees from Matriculation onwards along with transcripts of degrees.
- Photocopies of certificates and degrees from Matriculation onwards.
- Attach equivalence of HEC in case of Bachelor or Master Degree from abroad.
- Copy of National I.D. Card of the applicant.
- In case of absence of degree holder, authority letter duly attested by a grade 17 officer for authorized person
- Copy of I.D. Card of authorized person.
- In case a degree has not been issued, kindly provide a verification letter from Controller of Examinations of the concerned University for attestation of Detailed
Marks certificate/Transcripts. (This would be applicable to the students who passed their degree programmer during last 3 years.)
HEC Attestation Charges
Effective 1st December, 2008 HEC charges will be as follows
Attestation of Original Certificate/Degree
-Rs 400 per Document
Attestation of photocopy of Certificate/Degree
-Rs 200 per Document
For applicants sending documents from abroad
This facility will only be provided through Gerry’s/FedEx Islamabad office for the International customers who require attestation from HEC and documents to be shipped (any where in the world).
This return basis services offer is for any individual based abroad and applicant can use any service i.e. FedEx, DHL, TNT, and Post Office to send his/her documents from abroad to Pakistan.
The international packet will consist of the following items
• Gerry’s Fee Bank Draft. Rs. 202/-
• Courier charges Bank draft Rs 2000/-
• HEC Fee Bank Draft. (According to the number of documents)
• All the documents that need to be attested in the order mentioned above
Make sure that all the bank drafts are in Pak Rupees and in the favor of Gerry’s International and from some bank which operates in Pakistan (preferably some Pakistani bank).
Note: International applicants are requested to mention their contact number(s), postal address and valid e-mail so that they may be contacted in case of any clarification.
