| Applications for work permits can be
submitted to FedEx/Gerry's application centres all over Pakistan*.
Applications can also be submitted at the Embassy.
You can submit your application through
internet as well. Please visit the Swedish Migration Board's
website for further details. To submit application at the
Embassy or FedEx/Gerry's you must submit your application
personally. Please bring the following documents:
- 2 sets of correctly
and fully completed Application Forms (Form No. 103031);
- Fee deposit slip;
- Original passport
and identity card (will be returned);
- Two passport size
photographs. The photos must be: full face (facing the camera
directly with your eyes looking straight at the camera),
colour, with a light background, no more than six months
old and a good likeness of you, bareheaded, unless you have
special religious reasons;
- 2 copies of first
two pages of the passport and 2 of national identity card;
- A written offer of
employment in Sweden, with a photo copy, made out on a special
form which your employer can obtain via the National Labour
Market Board's web site ams.se. After approval from the
County Labour Board your employer must send the form to
you so that you can enclose it with your application;
- Your employer shall
guarantee you pay, insurance coverage and other terms of
employment equal to at least the collective agreement or
Swedish practise in the profession or the branch of trade;
- Accommodation must
have been arranged for you in Sweden
- You must be fully prepared to leave
Sweden when your term of employment is over.
You will receive the date and time of your
interview after the application is submitted. Waiting time
for interview is approximately 2 - 4 weeks. Your application
will be forwarded after the interview has taken place, to
the Swedish Migration Board for a decision.
Before you present your application you
must deposit a non-refundable work permit application fee
equivalent to SEK 1000, in Pak Rupees into the Embassy's account
No: 13530027999203 at Habib Bank Limited, Super Market, School
Road Branch, F-6 Markaz, Islamabad or at HBL's any on-line
branch in Pakistan.
The application receiving hours are Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, and for telephone
enquiries (Embassy only) 2.00 to 3.00 p.m. Passport collection
time from the Embassy is 4.30 - 5.00 p.m. The Embassy is closed
on some of the public holidays. Visits and calls at other
times will NOT be accepted.
